The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Certain funeral services may be provided off-premises by other funeral service providers.
Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff and Overhead $495
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.) *This fee is non-declinable.
Our basic service charge includes but is not limited to the arrangement conference, coordinating service plans with cemetery, church, hospital, or other institution, 24 hr. availability, preparation and filing of any necessary permits and certificates relevant to the funeral process, placement of death notices and obituaries, bookkeeping, accounting and other administrative expenses. This fee also includes overhead expenses relative to our facility such as wages, insurance, facility maintenance, equipment costs, utilities, and government compliance.

Embalming $795-995
Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming is the process of chemically treating human remains to reduce the presence and growth of microorganisms, to temporarily inhibit organic decomposition, and to restore a natural physical appearance for funeral services within a reasonable period. *Required for services with an open casket, per Carewell Cremations policy.

Immediate burial with use of any casket selected by the purchaser is the fee plus the casket price $2,995 + casket price

Direct Cremation $1,245 - $3,640
Includes basic service fee of the funeral director, staff, local transfer of remains to cremation home, cremation, identification of deceased, refrigeration, polymer urn, an alternative container. The alternative container we provide is cardboard. This charge does not include the medical examiner’s cremation permit fee, death certificate fees or the use of facilities, any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to the cremation.
State and local laws do not require a casket for direct cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are cardboard.
